Olga Stringfellow (1921-) was a journalist and author of romantic and historical fiction. Born Olga Elizabeth Brown in Dunedin, she was educated at Otago Girls’ High School (1936) and the Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland.

After moving to the United Kingdom in 1949, Stringfellow wrote the historical novels Mary Bravender (1960) and A Gift to the Sultan (1962). Set during the New Zealand Wars, Mary Bravender was an immediate success and sold 10,000 copies in its first week. In later life, Stringfellow became an internationally renowned touch healer, with prominent sporting figures among her clients.
