The
years between World War I and II marked the emergence of large amateur theatre

Repertory performed at several venues in its early years, including His
Majesty’s Theatre, Dunedin Town Hall Concert Chamber and Mayfair Theatre. In
the late 1960s Dunedin Repertory bought the Playhouse Theatre, which remains
its home today.
