Case 7 - Treasure Island Maps

Pencil and acrylic over gesso

Pencil and acrylic on paper

I have always loved maps in books, especially fold out ones and most especially ones that represent their worlds in three dimensions. It’s great fun to draw them up out of the page, crash their seas against their coastlines and fill their forests with menacing shadows.
